Announcing The 2019 NFB of Kentucky Technology Symposium
The NFB of Kentucky Technology Division and our community partner, American Printing House (APH) for the Blind are tag-teaming to bring the 2019 NFB Kentucky Technology Symposium to you!
When: September 20, 2019 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM (registration starting promptly at 7:30 AM, for those who have not preregistered). The cost for you to register on the day of the symposium, September 20, 2019, will be $5.00. Where: The Hilton Garden Northeast Inn, 9850 Park Plaza Ave., Louisville, KY 40241. What are the Amazon Echo and Amazon Echo DOT? They are both described as a brand of smart speaker developed by Amazon. NFB Kentucky TAD Receives The 2014 Robert E. Whitehead Award
Who was Robert E. Whitehead, and what is the Robert E. Whitehead Award? Well, let us tell you a bit about Robert E. Whitehead. Robert (Bob) E. Whitehead was the second sitting president of the NFB Kentucky affiliate. This award is presented to an affiliate chapter or division that strives to build membership in the organization . The chapter or division is also actively changing the public's perceptions about blindness through innovative projects and community outreach.

TAD Membership Dues
Please note, if you choose to pay your TAD dues online, you must first, enter in a dollar amount under "Item Price". TAD dues is $5.45 per person per year.
Please note that currently, a convenience charge of2.9% on the transaction plus a flat rate of thirty cents per transaction is charged by Paypal as a processing charge. TAD cannot afford to incur this forty-five cent expense and must pass this charge forward so that we are able to collect the $5 membership charge in full, this is a step that we must exercise for online dues registration. You also have the option of mailing in your $5 dues or delivering it to TAD Treasurer, Hellena Emery.
After you enter in your desired dollar amount i.e. 5.45, 10.90, then press the "Update" button. Under "Item Total", you should see that field updated to your specified amount. Then, you can proceed to the payment section by either logging into your Pay Pal account or registering as a guest to make your payment.
